Head of Trade Services, World Trade Centre
David Opeyemi Oke is the Head of Trade Services at the World Trade Center Abuja. With a rich background spanning close to two decades, Opeyemi is a forward-thinking team leader and accomplished development expert. His extensive experience encompasses policy development, community engagement, issue advocacy, grassroots organizing, and program development. His work spans both corporate and governmental collaborations, involving him in the design and execution of policies aimed at fostering sustainable development. He has been particularly active in areas such as trade and economic governance, youth engagement and development, migration and development, internet governance, contributing his expertise to various African nations, including Uganda, Benin Republic, Sierra Leone, Liberia, DRC, and Madagascar. Prior to joining WTC Abuja, He founded Equip Africa Integrated Development Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the socio-economic well-being of African youth and served as the Director General (Nigeria), Global Council for Promotion of International Trade (GCPIT).
